Hearing things that there’s ‘no chance’ building work will be completed ready for the Liverpool game and town have been advised to switch/postpone it.

Not all of the ground is open for that and the TV and VAR facilities don't need to be in place so not sure the friendlies have much impact on the viability of the opener | |

Luton's upgrade was colossal in comparison to what we've had to do.
They had to completely redevelop a stand, install six new floodlights, and the five existing required high powered LEDs bulbs.
I'd be very surprised if we postpone the Liverpool game. |  | | |

As said the other day, have a mate or three working down there currently. All convinced the work is way behind, and chucking more men at it is causing more issues as nobody can get moving. |  |

Really surprised the club didn’t request an away game first, they were obviously confident of getting it done, but more and more people now coming out with what you initially said, doesn’t sound great. | |

But surely preparing for a fairly high profile friendly is going to take several days out of a building/ work schedule at full pace so I still reckon the fact it's going ahead is a good indication that they are confident it will be ready . | | | |
