Assuming this to be true, given what Swiss Ramble was saying earlier in the summer, we could be looking at circa £100m for transfers in this window.

What a change!

Fresh investment doesn't help PSR though, does it? New investment is obviously great for other areas of our stability and future projects, new stand etc

It better work. I get nervous with the sums we’re paying plus linked with.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

I assume this is part of Bright Paths commitment to purchase shares in the club. It will go towards the loss we are able to have this financial year. Remember they are supposed to be putting up to £105m in.

Does it though? If new investment can go against losses then why are there issues with psr, would be so easy to get around

Premier League rules allow a loss of just £5m a year but you can overspend by an extra £30m as long as it is money invested in the club.

We wouldn’t run our personal finances like it but apparently it is perfectly acceptable for football clubs.

Not new investment, the cash which was injected over the course of last season.
