I wouldn't be surprised if he stays at Spurs.

I think he's quite keen to move on but when push comes to shove it will be very hard to step away from there to join what will be a big relegation candidate as tit's only the 3 promoted clubs linked

Totally agree. Does feel above our level though? I would assume he's on decent money at Spurs and if West Ham got £18m for Downes, you've got to be looking at £25m+ for Skipp? Really hard deal to do.

It's only hard if Spurs have a queue of clubs willing to pay north of £20m, which I can't see happening.

If they want to free up space themselves and give Skipp a chance to play regular football, something in the £15m-£18m ballpark seems fair IMO.

I did hear from someone earlier in the summer that he's on very big money and that the thinking at the time was that Spurs wanted to send him out on loan but it would be challenging for clubs to take him.

£60k+ a week.

Snippet from The Athletic/NY Times' and the time of his contract renewal in 2022.

"Fast forward less than a year and Skipp has signed a bumper new deal that more than doubles his previous weekly wage of around £30,000 a week. It runs until 2027, which will take Skipp beyond a staggering 20 years at Tottenham — he joined as a five year old, and will turn 25 in September 2025."

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…
