it 's looking like things are coming together, with the midfield clout that we've all hoped for now coming in. Phillips is such a wow loan! If it comes off and he finds form and confidence he'll be such a key man this year.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

I don't think the disdain you show towards the newer fans is particularly edifying.

My partner falls into that group, this will be her 3rd season as a ST holder having never been to a game and is now as invested as I am (if not more).

It might make you feel better to imagine all of the new ST holders as glory hunters, but many are just people who have been introduced to the club and fallen for it/football.

So I sympathise with your situation but not the bitterness of your approach.

Would be interesting to know when they got their original season ticket. Before or after our last prem season..........

a niche perspective

A simplistic view. My point was more of a take on the fact we used to have a hardcore of 12.5k season ticket holders through thick and thin. That then swelled to around about 16k i think pre KM. Since then we're now at what? 22k - 24k (someone correct me on the numbers)?

So somewhere between League One and Championship promotion we've accumulated a helluva lot of, lets be diplomatic and call it, 'new interest'.

I'm sure a lot of those are young fans and to Ashton's point, we need to bring the new wave through but there are a lot of people who feel a more weighted system would have been better to previous members because lets be honest, the general public sale is ridiculous. Nearly 3000 this morning going for 29 tickets...

I've never had a ST, I've always lived at least two hours from PR. I played football to a decent level myself and now my boy is in academy football himself.

He is unlikely to ever have a ST.

Apologies if that doesn't mean either of us should make the ballot for tickets.

Its was a tenuous link and jibe at the new wave of fans and the bedwetting but one that was lost in translation so never mind. To be fair, its just bedwetting season and will be this time next year too, no doubt.

I don't agree with your view. In my view it's not about luck, you make your own luck. If you have a season ticket for 23 years, you should absolutely be in a system, which shows preferential treatment for years of 'service' over someone who hasn't (age dependant / weighted) imo.

Never mind though, away games in home ends it is for the foreseeable. Fulham, Brighton, Arsenal, Palace...not too shabby.

I’ve done that with my dad more times than I care to remember, especially with the London/south games. He was a past master at ‘finding a way in’ to just about any game - far better than me at it - apart from the 92 Carrow Rd game (2-0 and Dozzell’s bobble hat) which was down to me 😃

...now there's a surprise. Now, how about those who have become season ticket holders in the last two season relinquish their tickets to those who were season tickets holders for the dross 15-years prior to that?

That's quite the take for someone who only started posting on TWTD in 2022, and who's opening gambit on this forum was how McKenna's time in charge so far had been regressive not progressive.

Poll: Is it more annoying when builders
