Do you think it is possible that Travis was signed on loan in January to plant a Szmodics seed? Even if just a secondary motive, as Travis as a player was a good fit alone, we could have easily had Szmodics on our long term target list. I’m sure the possibility of Travis reporting back to the Blackburn camp about how impressive he found us and McKenna was at least discussed by KMc and Ashton.

I like your thinking but I think Travis was a realistic target should we not have been promoted, and Szmodics would have been out of our reach. Love the fact that some Rovers fans think Travis is a different player since he was with us. Just another reason to love KM and his team. |  |
