As one of the league one players it's really nice that as many of them get to walk out and complete this journey as is feasible really. The squad doesn't necessarily look premier league when you look at the 11 but they all have the biggest of points to prove.

I think people forget we signed Walton from a PL club and pushed the boat out to get him.
He's not a L1 player.

Confidence growing - that race of the line to grab it at the feet of *whoever* was a real confidence booster for a keeper. Getting the balance of passing short and 'foot through it' just about right considering his skills and the opposition.

Always thought Walton was the better keeper out of him and Hladky anyway. The only area I would say VH was better was ball at feet, we won't be playing out as expansively this season so Walton will be a better fit in the prem out of the 2. VH benefitted from a great start to last season but awasnt as effective 2nd half of season as 1st half.
