There, I’ve said it and I feel relieved. All these signings….back to back promotions. Wow wow wow. Team spirit is the problem because we were winning lots and now we're losing lots. Reminds me of the Sheffield United fans who were calling their players spineless last season. The starting CBs who conceded over 100 goals then are steering the club to automatic promotion now, so turns out their backbones were alright after all.
It's much easier to turn to the feely stuff than it is to admit that ability is the issue. We didn't recruit the right faces for today's challenge, unfortunately, but most of them are very comfortable at the lower level. | | | |

There are quite a few regulars and long time posters there. I’m not sure I would have agreed at the time, as we needed to strengthen. We weren’t in the same place as we were in 2000 with a number of players coming into their prime at a top international level. |  |
