It'll be dependent on when O'Shea, or the new RCB, signs. I can see McKenna sticking with Woolfenden, and then the change at the back will happen at Brighton.

I also think he'll stick with Muric. Dropping him after one bad game will not do his confidence any good. Whether he was right to drop Walton today...

ETA - I think Phillips will be eased in, and can see Cajuste starting ahead of him. No doubt he'll get minutes at Wimbledon.

Muric
Tuanzebe - Woolfenden - Greaves - Davis
Morsy - Cajuste
Hutchinson - Szmodics - Clarke

Imagine buying a first choice keeper for £10m because he suits our style of play and then abandoning it completely because he made two mistakes at the Etihad.

I would have liked to see Walton keep his place today (especially if Muric was an injury doubt) because he didn't do anything wrong last week and generally deserves a chance, but if we think over the season Muric is going to suit us better, then for games like Fulham at home you've got to stick with him.

This would be my team, albeit with Walton in goal because I believe he deserves an extended run in the team.

The reaction to Muric is everything wrong with modern-day football fans.

Footballers make mistakes and he's made two bad errors against Man City which have cost us but how does sticking him on the bench help?!

He's obviously a great keeper and we have to give him the chance to learn from it.

Or it's a reflection of how we over-complicate football.
Why change something that worked?
What exactly did Muric add that Walton wouldn't have?

Better shot stopping? No
More assured cross taking? No
More accurate hoof upfield? No
Better positioning? No

If Walton makes mistakes, then change it.
If he doesn't, then don't drop him.

Got to keep with Muric for now. Can't drop him over one game.
