Saturday v Fulham 23:54 - Aug 29 with 1765 views | eddiespearitt03 | Is it too early to expect a hard earned win ? We all know it will take a few games, if not more, for existing and the new players to form a bond. It is certainly going to be a game where we have to match intensity , defending and goal threat. At this stage would you be happy with a draw ?

With a lot of new players arriving and a lot of gelling to be done, whether Saturday is too early who knows. I split the Premier league teams into three sections ..... the top third teams, we are not expected to pick up any points the middle third teams, maybe pick up a few points the bottom third, teams that we should be competing with and picking up enough points to stay up [Post edited 30 Aug 2024 6:28]

We the supporters can play a massive part tomorrow. I think it has to be relentless support from the off to the last kick of the game.

Saturday v Fulham on 07:41 - Aug 30 with 1333 views | Stewart27 | If I’m expecting wins then this is going to turn into a miserable season. I don’t expect one tomorrow. Fulham are very good. But I feel we really need the win before the international break to give us some confidence going into it. Plus it’s a month before we’re back at home again. Really looking forward to seeing KM work with the team in the next couple of weeks.

I divide the division in 3 as well, but differently... 1) Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool 2) Europe chasing clubs (Spurs, Newcastle, Chelsea, Man U, Villa) 3) Everyone else No points out of the Top 3 (already got a couple of those games out of the way), points to be had against the Europe clubs (particularly at home) if they have a bad day or take us lightly. The key results will be against the "everyone else" teams - challenge for any promoted club (particularly in recent years) is just to stay up.

I think their away form hasn't been sparkling for a couple of seasons. I expect a really tough game. It would send a great message if we could get a win but honestly and objectively I'd take a draw. Saturday v Fulham on 09:28 - Aug 30 with 1058 views | ghostofescobar | I would more than happily take a point. That would be huge. Whenever I saw Fulham on the telly last season I always thought they looked a very good team. As everyone else is saying, we have a bundle of new players that will take a while to bed in. I am desperate to be wrong, but think it will be a comfortable win for the away team tomorrow. More important than ever that us fans stick with the team if we do struggle.
