My favourite moment of the day. 18:38 - Aug 31 with 9335 viewsFromReuserWithLove

When Phillips went off and got his standing ovation. He was clearly quite taken back by it all and applauded back, then threw his hands up asking for louder and more. Thought it was lovely.

The power of positive support.

Yeah, because the crowd was so quiet yesterday.

Actually until the very end, I thought it was quite comparably quiet. North barely singing, did any songs get a second verse?

Not trying to be a party pooper,, just nowhere near good enough for me. Or Kalvin apparently.

Or [redacted for selfish purposes], for those who don't want to buy a fire stick. I've watched Man City, Wimbledon and Fulham matches on there for free so far.

Edit: Nothing to see here...

If people keep publicly sharing it it'll get overloaded and crash.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

You need to go to Specsavers, the ear department.

With respect, that's nonsense. I'm far from one who thinks we should pat ourselves on the back for creating an atmosphere, but it was very good yesterday.

I thought he was just ok in the 1st half, but the 2nd half he played very well, moved the ball quicker and more forward rather than being a little safe.

That’s exactly how I saw it. He grew into the game and was better in the second without doing much wrong in the first half.

As he grows in confidence we’ll see more from him and I think it might be nice for him to have the fans applauding him instead of being on his back when things aren’t going so well.

I said the moment he signed he could be our signing of the season but Cajuste was good when he came on too.

Have to say, whilst he tired, he was outstanding. West Ham was a bad move for him with an ultra boring manager (Ipswich and West Ham Fan by the way). He was helping Morsey have an influence on the game, plus an experienced head in the team. Delap, Woolfy, Garner were good too. Ain't sure what the ref was doing for the WWE at our corners, shocking performance

I disagree. Regarding Phillips’ response when he was substituted, what makes you think it was negative towards the crowd? Has he said so? If so, a link to it would be good.

Or is it you that’s being negative?

I thought he was pointing out how quiet the crowd was and asking for more.

More power required.

To me it was more of a signal to keep going and keep the noise up.
