Agreed. Not sure if its a popular opinion or not, but to me, he's not ready for this level of frootball. He was a bit hit and miss in the Championship.

Is that a good idea? If you're not prepared to give Al-Hamadi 20 mins. I'm not sure breaking Delap so you have to play Ali Al-Hamadi for 90mins is a good strategy. Delap is required to bust his gut for 70 mins and then have a nice sit down. That McKenna No9 role doesnt work without that intensity.
It will make such a difference having Hurst available, but that is not always going to be the case. Until we look again in January, you have to use Al-Hamadi or get creative with one of the No10s. |  | | |

I take it you've only started watching Ipswich a couple of weeks ago, and are unaware of McKenna's demands on his front 4, which has regularly resulted in a complete switch of the 'starters' who are loudly applauded when substituted off, having busted a gut for over an hour.
You could argue, well you probably couldn't, that Omari might see out the 90 given his youth, but he apparently has been nursing a knock, plus with Burns & Hirst now probably available from the bench for this game, we are well served for making the changes.
Hirst will no doubt come on now, instead of Al Hamadi, to replace Delap, while Burns will likely come on for Ogbene. |

To be fair you were talking of planned subs Tuanzebe and Philips as well. My point was we could be one nil up and they are the best two players on the pitch so predicting subs is a bit pointless.
