He's obviously a very talented man. He managed to make money and get a lot of jobs far after he reasonably had a right to.

As much as I don't particularly like the bloke and think he was a crap manager, he did make an effort with the fans and tried to bring some unity back to the club. He made much more of an effort with regards to this than Mick ever did (in my opinion).

Genuine question here, but on that point, it sounds laughable to think he'd get an increase in wages, BUT if he did indeed have promotional clauses in that contract would he actually be entitled to it?
