Club and counterfeit kit 10:36 - Oct 20 with 5682 views | Pinewoodblue | Purchased third kit, entered club shop website via Facebook. Consequently Facebook came up with numerous sites offering all three kits at around third of the price, took the time to report it to the club, via an email address set up to report such activity. Provided links to all the ads, not even had an acknowledgement of email. Do they care? Before anyone asks No I will not provide links.

Club and counterfeit kit on 13:46 - Oct 23 by Kieran_Knows | No idea if people have got them from the same site, but there's definitely a knock off version of our home shirt going around as seen plenty of people in it and it looks crap. The blue is a completely different colour and the Town badge is bloody massive on the kit. If you're going to get a knock off one, at least find one from somewhere reputable for that such thing. Clearly a lot of sites which do identical kits. |
All the fake kits are worse this year than they were last year, and last year they were pretty rubbish. Main thing they don't have is the semi circular stitching on back of neck which is the obvious tell tale, but don't even need to look that closely this year, the gold on the away one re sponsors is miles off colourwise

Club and counterfeit kit on 13:19 - Oct 23 by Pinewoodblue | Not sure the club make an excessive profit from shirt sales. Ipswich is currently the cheapest kit in Premier League. Do you ever have anything positive to say about the club you claim to support? |
He never seems to be happy does he.

I don’t know if they carried out their threat, made in August, but Sheffield Wednesday announced they intended to refuse entry to anyone wearing a counterfeit kit.

Would they also apply that to half and half scarves, as non-official club merchandise?

Club and counterfeit kit on 12:23 - Oct 23 by blueasfook | The pricing is set by the sportswear providers, the club make a small profit on top. I think the biggest profit margin on kits is customising them (adding names and numbers on the back). |
I hoped the club would get a decent slice of the £59 paid for the shirt, as we are buying it to support them. In a world in which we need to be sustainable I wish clubs would go back to changing the home shirt one year and the away shirt the next, rather than bringing out three or four new shirts (+goalkeepers) a year.
