I ordered three things from Amazon on Monday and I'm pretty sure that the delivery date (free Standard Delivery) was today, Thursday.
When I just looked at the order email, it says delivery date 2nd November to 19th November!
All three items sold by or fulfilled by Amazon.
Is this usual, or don't they like me? |  |

Look them up again as if you were going to purchase them again and check the delivery. It might be that it isn't coming from Amazon at all and the seller is sending them from afar. |  |

I did that, and the delivery date is now 6th November. I've got no proof, but I'm pretty sure it said today when I placed the order. Something must have switched between.
I'm not one to get het up about consumer issues, c'est la vie, but I just wondered if anyone else was experiencing the same crushing disappointment  I'll just have to revert to IEDs for Halloween evening! | |

Do you have more than one delivery address? Sometimes if I order from Amazon it gives me a delivery date, maybe the next day, as my default is my hime address but at checkout when I change address to my business or my daughter at Uni then the delivery date changes. |  |

When I bought from EBay recently the delivery date was 10 days away.
I got an email 2 days later from them saying they'd delivered and how did they do?
I went downstairs to the front door entrance and it was propped up against the wall. That space is empty so my package was a bit obvious and had stayed there unmolested for about 18 hours.

If you ordered 3 different items & didn't specify that you wanted the order split up so that you got individual items asap, they may have held two of them back because waiting on the third one.
That may be coming from China or wherever, with a much longer lead time than the first two, whose delivery date you might have been going on if those sellers are local/in UK. |  |
