That's really not the point. Wins in this league are so precious, we are two goals up against a similar standard team and now we do well to hang on for a draw. All the teams below us need is a win and we are in the relegation zone. We are not good enough to kill off teams when we get ahead so probably will get lots of draws this season which means relegation is inevitable. |
Wins are difficult to gain at this level.
So why are you saying we should be getting one today?
We will kill teams off in time.

Too easy to pull the defence out of place at the moment. Players don't seem to be confident in their role, or able to trust their colleagues to pick up opposition runners. |

What does that actually mean? People who choose to remain positive about things are aware that if we don't win any matches we will get relegated, you're not snapping people out of some delusional state, just most have probably made the choice that even if we don't win a game this year they're going to support the team unconditionally, and moaning/calling players out for errors achieves nothing but to further reduce the confidence of the players.
Seriously the idea of complaining and moaning this season after the two years we've just had is laughable. [Post edited 26 Oct 2024 16:38]

Is this the problem?. We're approaching this with the mind that Brentford are a "similar standard team"?
