And try to take the positives from that game.

No, aggressive pile ons are the way to go, apparently......

You're right, though, this was always going to be a tough season, regardless of our transfer business, and we're only going to have a chance if we stay behind the team.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

We need everyone inside the tent pissing out rather than outside the tent pissing in.

Like you say, always going to be hard. And especially so if you have multiple injuries to important players. Didn't expect us to compete as we did today to be honest. By far the better team first half and let them off the hook with pretty poor game management I thought. You can't go in at 2-2 from the position we were in.

Pen/red card marginal calls for me, neither went for us. Then we showed real character to hang in there and score a great equaliser. At 3-3, this place would have been buzzing (or it should have been).

We know we need to improve defensively. Having a consistent back 4 would help, but we don't seem to be able to field one at the moment.

We may do enough, we may not. But we are outside the bottom 3 as it stands. If we stay up, we've over achieved. If we don't, then we don't. No point sh!tting our pants about it all. As fans, we need to stay with the players, manager and the club.

First mistake he’s made that’s led to a goal since the City game. And people forget the great save he made at 3-2 to keep us in it. He’s a better keeper than Walton, McKenna will stick with him.

I've really tried to support Muric up to this point but he was also at fault for the lead up to West Ham's third. He miscontrolled the ball that led to West Ham getting possession and scoring.

If Wolfie can be dropped after not too shabby performances against City, Liverpool and Fulham, then Muric's position between the sticks needs to be seriously looked at.

Absurd back pass from Johnson wasn’t it.

From Phil's report...

'Muric miscontrolled a back-pass from Johnson and was forced to slide in and tackle Antonio. The ball reached Bowen on the right, midway inside the Town half, and the former Hull winger brought the ball into the area and easily past Phillips, before hitting a low shot across Muric and inside the post'

Agree - stick with him for now. He is the better keeper. Some of the errors are his but some are combination errors involving several players and poor comms. Need a defensive leader.

He’s capable of a world class save, unfortunately he’s also more capable of doing things that really seem unwarranted. At this level we need more of the former.

I beg to differ. If the defence in front of Muric isn't confident they will sometimes go for Plan B rather than the safest / most logical option and we concede. It may not be an obvious c0ck-up by Muric but rather the product of a chain of causation started by him.

It is just scapegoat territory for me. He shouldn't have let that 4th one in yesterday but the other three had nothing to do with him, obvious or chain of causation.

Not being able to field a consistent back 4 is our biggest issue for confidence and continuity. And it's going to be changed again for Leicester with Clarke out.
