Abuse? What have here is a poster who has an awful record of starting tasteless threads, the Köln new year sexual assaults (which you remember very well) and victim blaming those murdered, mutilated and raped on 7/10 immediately spring to mind, now trolling on a football message board about a man who in the past year has seen both his wife and father diagnosed with cancer within months of each other. He's using cancer in order to push his anti monarchist agenda.
Far from abuse, all I have seen on here is people who have either gone through cancer themselves or others whose close relatives are currently battling this disease.
I lost both of my parents to cancer. Neither of them were Royal or wealthy, but they received first class care from the day the were diagnosed right up to their end of life care. It's insulting to those people who cared for my parents and the tens of thousands of doctors and nurses who are currently doing the same today. in That somebody is trolling over the subject is sickening.
I get upset at key moments in my kids lives knowing my parents never got to see their grandchildren grow up and succeed on their life's journey. Just imagine, during the darkest days of Kate's illness, how William must have felt looking sat his young children and wondering if, like him, they will no longer have their mother in their lives. No amount of money or Royal status will make the slightest bit of difference to the emotions he has been going through during the past year. So to say it "has been brutal" is entirely understandable. |  |

I say this as someone on the left, some of my fellow travellers should look at themselves in the mirror when they see the world heading in a direction we don't like. You don't change hearts and minds by being an awful human.

I don't have any issue with the general point that the rent is distasteful. I also greatly sympathise with your experience with your parents. Sorry you had to go through that.
You could have made that point without the lack of empathy for someone else's experience though.
There are third-world countries with non-existent cancer care systems - but I wouldn't think to tell you that your experience isn't important because we have it better than others. | |
