Another match with a familiar pattern 15:37 - Nov 10 with 3740 views | DublinBlue84 | The trouble is draws are not what we need and each time we get in a positon to win a match we always throw it away., I know we will play worse teams and nobody expected us to get a win out of this match, but the same pattern happens regardless of the opposition.

Not entirely. Porro, Dragusin, Johnson and Son all started both. Kulusevski and Bentancur played the second half. Sarr and Solanke came on with 30 min to go. Vicario and Udogie both sat on the bench so travelled. Romero is the only one who might not have travelled as he had a foot injury.

Another match with a familiar pattern on 16:36 - Nov 10 by Nthsuffolkblue | Isn't that exactly what Morsy was criticised for last week? Got his body between the ball and the player, got the shove, went down ... but didn't get the obvious free kick. |
Yeah, and criticised by Frimmers for it as well!

There's really not much in it. The intent was exactly the same... but when it doesn't work you blame the player for choosing that option, when it does work you think it's a great choice. Fine margins in the Prem... and Frimmer's brain!

Two very different things flash One turns right and slips ( morsy) One holds the ball and spurs player is right behind him and pushes into him. Hutch isn't trying to turn the man ala morsy. He does the davis hold and drop. Two very different moments and why one was a freekick and one wasn't. Both however as I've already said I was screaming get rid of the ball. So no I didn't say it was a great choice ss I wanted him to get rid of it. But he chose to keep it.. what he did do tho was draw the foul unlike morsy who tried to turn away from the opponent. Come on flash you know your football to appreciate the differences between the two situations. If your adamant there's no difference then it does prove to me you're just looking to say the opposite to anything I post as it's clear as day and not even about knowledge or beliefs of football. They're not very different things, no. "Get your body infront of a player then go down and you'll get the foul. Wonderful stuff." To me, that's what Morsy was trying to do. We can agree to differ, but in the heat of the moment I think they're both trying to do the same thing, draw the foul.

If morsy didn't turn he may have got one. The turn is what done him. And then the slip.
