Ridiculous. A couple of those are just speculative long rangers without any team build up. They're spectacular but people try them all the time and either get lucky or don't. I've scored goals as 'good' as those.
Surely you need a series of exceptional individual actions (i.e. a great run and finish) like the West Ham one, or a great team goal like some of the others there or Wes's.

Wasn't expecting Burns' goal to be in the list, mainly because I thought it may be deemed that scoring it in the Championship may be too 'lowly' for such an award. However, I thought it had been generally accepted that it was the Championship's goal of the season, so to see another one from that level get in was a bit of a surprise. | |
