Who was posting that? A trusted source? I'd be inclined to wait for official news before stating it was him, maybe. Not saying you are posting lies, it's just that speculation is never nice, especially if it spreads misinformation. |  |

Well, if true, that's obviously worrying. I worked with Milts for over a decade, and once it's confirmed and we know more, I'll be sure to send messages of support.
Not trying to be disingenuous to anyone, but there have been plenty of occasions where stuff has spread on the internet and it has been inaccurate.

Please do. I only met him once at one of those pre game lunch things as a guest some years ago, but saw his career with us. Simon has been brilliant for this football club and done some terrific work outside it.
He was a good, feisty, hard working midfielder with one hell of a shot on him. 258 appearances, 56 goals. No mean total for a midfield player.
Hopefully with top medical facilities on hand he will be ok. Get well soon Mr Milton, you club legend. |  | | |

I love the bit where he says, "did you get that?" So many of his cracking goals weren't filmed. Including a hattrick away, which he always lamented that he couldn't watch back.
