Jack Clarke's best cameo so far? 18:08 - Dec 14 with 1179 viewsbournemouthblue

he seems to be showing signs of growing into McKenna's system, be it today was essentially against a Championship quality defence?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

An assist today could do a lot of good for his selfconfidence as well

I thought he was poor apart from the corner tbh, but that's a contribution that massively trumps his ineffectiveness otherwise.

Yep same here. Two comments I sent to a mate during the game:

[16:43, 14/12/2024]: "Makes a good run into the box, then hits a massive cross way over everyone"
[16:45, 14/12/2024]: "Almost another wolves goal from weak Jack Clarke losing it.

Great corner but the rest was more of the same we usually see from him. Would much rather see Broady on.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Not even close. He lost the ball a couple of times and was weak in a few challenges that lead to two counters. Better in the final third but no way near some others.

There's not a lot to compete against, let's be honest

Yeah far too lightweight for me. Clearly technically a very good player but not athletic enough for this level. Decent corner though.

I'm not saying it's the standard we are expecting, only it was his best little cameo

There's not a lot to compete against is there

Sadly if he really was Prem league quality he'd have had far more game time in the Championship, its not like he hasn't the experience ..

But boy I love him tonight!!

I donĀ“t think he has impressed the times he has come in towards the end of games. But it has not always been easy, many times we have lost the games late on, let a goal in, panicked as the game is running out of our hands, lost the structure and not been able to keep hold of the ball as well as in the beginning of the matches. Clarke is not alone to be blamed for this, but he has been one that have looked lightwight, out of ideas, and lost posession.
I think that in the game that he started a few matches ago he had a few good moments, but was inconsistent.
I think an assist today, 3 points, will be good for him. Hopefully he has got something to build on. There definately is a player in there.

Replace cameo with contribution and I'll be in agreement
