At kick off Hutchinson was on the right and Burns left. As soon as we lost the ball Burns headed to the right and pointed Hutchinson towards the big hole he had just vacated. No wonder Davis got overwhelmed really. [Post edited 21 Dec 2024 17:27]

You're right, Davis was way up the pitch but Burns definitely should have stayed that side until a more suitable moment. | |

Davis was clearly told to go forward and push from kick-off and Burgess unfortunately was a metre or so too far forward to cover Murphy as expected.

I don't accept Cajuste is more at fault than Muric. The pass from Muric was never on. As Mick Mills said on the radio, an outfield player would never make that pass. There was nothing on for Cajuste even if he had controlled the ball. |  |
