I think they'll sell now. But I reckon more like £12-13

Have to say l really hoped we would sign him in the summer. Not so sure now. As others have said doesn’t seem to be getting rave reviews at Coventry at the moment. But with the coaching he’s likely to get here who can say. Not sure whether he’s what we need now though.

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Agree with this. Being half way through the season we don’t have time for someone to get up and running. It’s taken us this long to start being effective.

I did think about us going back for him, but since we originally enquired we signed Cajuste and Phillips.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

If anything it's almost a good time to sign. They wanted £20 million + for him. Cov have been awful this season. They were fancied for playoffs at least. Robins had been brilliant for them but got it badly wrong and fell out with their assistant and didn't replace him. Lost their creativity e.g. O'hare/Palmer and Sheaf had an early injury.

He's back playing and doing fine just without the quality around him. They have got the balance wrong this season and he can't do it all himself. Probably some frustration for him not to be allowed to move as well. I think he wants the move in Jan. He would be a top signing albeit not in a key position we need to strengthen. If we could do a deal and include Luongo I really think it would be a good move for everyone though. And a good move for Mass as well which is important.

He'd be a good signing if we go down to replace Cajuste or as a replacement for Morsy but don't think we need him right now.

There's new factors in the mix now I suppose. Been a significant change of manager, he may have also wanted to move in dinner and may be stagnating a bit. Nothing that a good move wouldn't change. Do I think he's better than either Cajuste or Phillips though? No, that would look more like planning for relegation in my eyes, or the longer term with those two having moved on.
