The irony is that this is the umpteenth thread on this issue from numerous posters but you'd never know because they are all lost in the multiple, short-lived threads on the topic.
Every time someone asks the question you have, they get educated by the people who live here and like it just the way it is.
I can't see things changing in a hurry unless you voice your concerns in the only thread on the forum where true sanity prevails:
