Yodel are a piece of sh 16:40 - Jan 10 with 1549 views | The_Flashing_Smile | it. My delivery of Luck Saint beers were due to arrive Monday... they couldn't find my address for some reason, so took my parcel back to the depot and it's been there ever since. Been on their live chat thing every day since, trying to find out what's happening, and the guy pretty much admitted there's nothing they (the chat people) can do as they have no access to the depot. They're there just to trot out the company's messages and placate the customer. No practical use whatsoever. Scummmy company. How difficult is it to deliver a fecking parcel?

Yodel are a piece of sh on 17:19 - Jan 10 with 1382 views | gainsboroughblue | On that subject, I phoned beer 52 to cancel my subscription the other day. New year, dry January and all that. Why they walk you through the cancellation process online only to give you a number to call at the end is anyones guess but hey ho. Anyway, it took me a good ten minutes to convince the call handler I wanted the subscription to stop, plying me with more offers, saying I could have an extra 2 cans for free etc. In the end I had to be quite curt and say it isn't about saving money, it was about health and wellbeing and asked if they would ply somebody who wanted to stop smoking with free fags. Rubbish story really but didn't strike me as a very sensitive way to deal with that. I could have been a raging alcoholic for all they knew who was summoning up all their will and courage to quit.

Yeah, I've had that with them before. I usually spam the whole '52 family' free offers when I get a new house or other circumstances that let me go again. 'sorry, but I've converted to Islam' tends to do the trick!

At least we had 15 inches of snow as an excuse! tho local roads have been passable with care since Wednesday.

I had a right old moan at Lucky Saint, more so after they also fobbed me off with "Its on its way". To the extent that they've sent me out another delivery and I can keep both if the first ever turns up.

I still haven't had the ‘out for delivery’ message yet, just "we have it" ...for 5 days! We don't even have snow for an excuse. Just a flurry of incompetence!

They really are a nightmare to deal with, easy enough to sign up but impossible to leave! Should be a law that if you sign up online you can cancel online. Best thing I found with them was to say I’ve quit drinking altogether.

Yeah. When I said I wanted a break from drinking (at home at least), they said something along the lines of 'Well, keep the subscription and you've got beers in the fridge for whenever you want to start again'. Yes, because that's how addiction and abstinence works.
