Away Ticket Analysis Types 15:30 - Jan 20 with 1327 views | Jrm_72 | Can anyone hazard a guess what chance a 10+ er such as I has in getting Cov away tickets? Want to take my littlest to his first away game for his birthday and wondering if the (I think) 25% allocation will be enough to filter that far down Any insight welcome!

Will be on sale in the next few days I imagine. Allocation is 15% of the ground, 4,900 is what Sheff Wednesday got. We may push for more but Coventry are tight.

The feeling amongst Cov fans is that they’re not bothered by it, and the club will be lucky to get 5k attending…. We can do that on our own and outnumber the home fans! If they’re not bothered, hopefully we can have even more if we need it.

I think that was also broadly true for the match there last season, but they wouldn't budge on the allocation. It resulted in the rather ludicrous situation of the Town contingent sitting next to a rather sparsely-populated set of seats.

Yep, they cut the away allocation by almost half part way through last season. I remember at FT loads of ITFC fans in the home end made their way to the segregation netting to join in with the celebrations

I guess its a slightly different scenario to last year so hopefully the cov board will be more pragmatic. Last year Coventry needed a win for the playoffs (or at least did at time ticket allocations were decided) and so wouldn't have wanted a huge away end giving a 12th man effect. Now in this game both teams will be happy to lose with dignity and concentrate on league so best for business is to pack the house and maximise income from the game, particularly with no double bubble in replays. I will keep fingers crossed!
Away Ticket Analysis Types on 16:44 - Jan 20 with 950 views | tractorshark | If we get 5000 tickets, i suspect it will get to 10+ points. There can't be many people left between 20-24 any more and although there will be fans marooned in the 15-19 bracket, I imagine there will be enough tickets to take it into the 10+ bracket.
Away Ticket Analysis Types on 18:17 - Jan 20 with 776 views | tommcd | 20+ Window is only just selling out when we have a 3000 PL allocation (in reality more like 2750 once player tickets, hospitality etc come out of it). So realistically there are probably no more than 2800 members in the 20 points+ range. Say we get 4900 allocation ('real' allocation around 4750) and 70% of the usual 20+ crowd go (it's only the cup, and we've played at the Ricoh recently) that's 1960 gone. 4750 - 1960 = 2790 remaining for everyone 19 points or below. I can't see that there thousands in the 15-19 points range, maybe a few hundred, so would imagine a high number making it in the 10+ sale. It wouldn't surprise me to see it reaching 5+ to be honest. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
