Exactly Steve - some people seem to think a player coming on late and having an impact when a team has taken their foot off the gas is then the answer to start next match. All v knee jerk. Omari runs himself into the ground and has no out ball half the time when he receives it. He’s also been brought back early from injury due to our lack of options on the rught. If anything Delap has arguably done far less of late. I guarantee broady would’ve made v little difference if he’d started instead of jaden. The fact is we were comprehensively outplayed. Massive amount of context needed. We need a settled team.

Lol

This really makes me laugh about Town fans. Over the last couple of weeks many fans have championed getting in new players because we need to improve the squad, particularly to improve the sub bench to actually make a difference when they come on.
Today the subs came in and made a difference but now it's nothing to do with the subs it's all because of the opposition isn't interested.

Strange thing is lots of fans talked about Philgene looking good when he came on against City, even though at that point City were treating it like s training game.

As I've said before some Town fans base their opinion on his much a players costs

When he gets on the ball he can look really sharp but he disappears from the action for long spells and off the ball it's almost the case that we might as well have 10 men at times.

Guess the difference between him and Hutchinson, say, is that even if the latter isn't playing great, he's still very involved and gets on the ball whereas Broadhead can go completely missing and then we're just carrying him in the hope he can pull something off if he ever gets the opportunity.

Also Omari is absolutely tireless in the press, really disciplined on harrying and position. I do think this is why Broadhead and Clarke are less favoured given our set up.

I completely. Based on his performances I’m at a loss to explain why he’s not getting more time. Is he not doing the defensive side as well or something? (I rarely get to actually see a game now).

KM prefers his new purchases

I disagree with that. Omari is OK in the press but never 'relentless'. Szmodics is the one we miss in that regard.

I'd say Omari is frustrating in the press and gives an impression of pressing but actually doesn't. He also loses possession high up and doesn't bust a gut to recover.

But it's a game of opinions i guess.

Broadhead over OH every single day of the week.

OH has been really disappointing for me lately.
