Yep it's this - they've had memberships pretty much since they were born, initially for the membership card and goodie bag before starting to go to home games in second half of last league 1 season.
So they therefore both have 10 points from last 2 years x 5 membership bonus points. |  | | |

this 'moaning' narrative is a bit overblown. We have 3k (mostly) per away league match, of which 2.5k seem to be the top tiers leaving a bun fight for the others. For this match however we have nearly 5k tickets of which we have sold, what, 3.5k so far?
The moaning seems to be from a few vocal accounts, which is fair enough, they may have valid gripes but sometimes a system has to be put in place. Whether Coventry sells out at 10+, 5+ or free with every sale of a Portman Pie is irrelevant as to whether they are 'genuine fans' or 'day trippers'
As it is, its looking like anyone with a club issued affinity will have an opportunity to get a ticket for this match but some will still sneer. Now lets just waiting for the moaning about ticket allocation when we get to Wembley! | | | |

Anyone not going because they don't get a point risk not getting tickets for later rounds imo. Lets say we get to quarters, they may choose to prioritise fans who have been to all cup games. | |

Bit bored today so checked what our allocation was back then...2100 and was a sell out. I reckon we could take 3 times that now.
Also found this... the ticket priority process failed... imagine the noise if we ever got back in europe and they sold to people in the wrong priority.

I'm just so pleased to have got my tickets today. I've been stuck on 14 points all season despite being in every ballot. I think that people with more points than me deserve to get priority over me. You sit in your assigned seat. Front row usually sells out first for people less able to stand and you will be asked to move. | | | |

Yeah as others have said first few rows are normally reserved for people who can't stand..they haven't marked them on the system this time maybe because front bit is marked as seats and back half as safe standing.
There still quite a few in first 4 or 5 rows. | | | |
