Yeah, it's pretty bleak right now but I'm not going to start saying our fate is sealed just yet or that's it's the fault of the recruitment or the manager etc. Last year on 3rd Feb we lost away at Preston and were seeing automatic promotion slip away from us. Many were even resigned to facing Norwich in the play offs The season before on 21st Jan we lost away at Oxford and Barnsley were hunting us down as we slipped further behind Plymouth and Wednesday These feel like darker times because the performances have been poor, but it's not beyond this side and McKenna to turn it around. We've done amazing things before and we can do them again. And let's be honest if we go down we're still in a far better position than any one of us could have imagined less than 3 years ago. This isn't a call to back the players, but more my own take on why I'm not angry. I guess I'm somewhere between realism, as I never expected much more than what we're currently seeing, and hope because we've seen McKenna turn things around before | |
