The money we spent on Clarke and philogene (both who might end up being great for us I’ll add) we ‘could’ have used that £30/40m and put it to far better use, for the here and now. IMO |

I've got no idea, but I really don't think it is some undying loyalty to Sam Morsy why he is in the team - it's because SM is showing more (on and off the pitch) than KP.
A real shame, and it's one of those things we needed to work out for us to have a hope of staying up but it simply hasn't - if we could have gotten out of this deal we surely would have done.

I've got no idea, but I really don't think it is some undying loyalty to Sam Morsy why he is in the team - it's because SM is showing more (on and off the pitch) than KP.
A real shame, and it's one of those things we needed to work out for us to have a hope of staying up but it simply hasn't - if we could have gotten out of this deal we surely would have done.

There were always murmurs about his attitude towards training whilst at West Ham, but a lot of people just put his poor stint at West Ham down to Moyes rather than Phillips himself
