Absolutely bossing it isn’t he. Lets hope this gives him the confidence for the remaining Premier League games.

He's really impressed me by what he's done off the ball as much as on it.

Agree. But for me it shows the difference between the prem and champ. If we go down I fully expect him to be a top player for us next season. If we stay up then he needs to put on some muscle.

Poll: Right now, who would you rather have as Prime Minister?

Yes, he worked hard, and on the ball a 91% pass completion rate as well as 2 goals and an assist. MOM for me ...

If only his shot went in at Fulham.

Talented footballer Clarke. One we need to stay patient with. Tough situation for a lot of our players to come in to this year. They will keep improving.

Benefitted from extra space. Wonder if Davis playing advanced position doesn’t suit Clarke. He looked happier with Townsend behind him.

Definitely. Brought in to fulfill a role that Davis’ role inhibits to a large degree, compounded a bit by the fact that Davis in this role has been fairly ineffectual in the Prem. Amazing what a bit of space to operate can do.

Thought Townsend overlapped as usual today and Clarke played him through nicely lots of times - every cross was very forgettable on this occasion though! Unlike against Rovers when Townsend showed real quality.

The extra space is a huge difference for sure. Clarke had too much time in advanced positions and was able to boss the game as a deep-lying playmaker when he wanted to. Very exciting for next season dare I say it.
