Should Omari have even started the second half? 23:28 - Feb 26 with 677 viewswarky_1970

Looking back at the second half Hutchinson wasn’t really in the game at all.

When he eventually got taken off he was clearly struggling, no doubt from the terrible tackle late on in the first half that led to the Red card.

Perhaps McKenna should have changed things at half time as if Omari was struggling from that tackle, we essentially were also playing with ten men.

No, he hardly touched in the second half. I will be annoyed if he's out for any length of time. If he's injured for the next game then he was injured for the second half.

Still think omari has to be a right sided salah player. He's too small and fluffy for the middle.

a niche perspective

He looked bright but I really think today we missed Chappers. It didn't need running and tricks, it needed those little fizzed balls round the corner and stretching the old Trafford pitch out against 10.

No questioning the effort, but confidence seems to be all time low across the squad. At least with Omari, he gives it everything defensively and direct running so I get why he stayed on. I just thought we needed something different

Despite what I posted earlier about not being sentimental about the players that got us to the prem, Chappers is one player I would 100% be reaching out to now as long as he is fit and up for it. He knows this club and has the fighting spirit. He would give everything to play the remaining dozen or so games left in our very brief Prem stay. As soon as he is fit and available let’s use him.

I haven’t kept up. Is he currently unavailable ?

I like Chappers but we really don't need another buzzy 5 foot 7 player massively out of his depth.

I know that was then, but it could be again..
