Delivered in a manner that seemed to hint that United fans had invented this and no other club does it. | |

It was awful. Dempsey is a disgrace of a commentator.
He was talking about Garnacho in the 80th minute of the game...He had long been off the pitch.
He was lauding the Utd fans when it was our fans that were singing ffs.
I thought out putting a legitimate compliant in. It pissed me off that much. At least provide a bit of balance. |  | | |

I was watching the Fulham game the previous evening - Glen Hoddle on co-comms - pretty decent I thought - way above the ones you mentioned
Last night it might as well have been MUTV - they had done next to no research / prep and had nothing to contribute. Putting a commentary team in place who have an affiliation to one of the clubs inevitably leads to this kind of nonsense - they just know they will have enough "material" to bluff without actually reading up on anything |  | | |

For me, the most annoying thing was Dempsey constantly saying throughout the second half that we were playing "nice football". It was rubbish for God's sake. Any team can pass it back and forth across the pitch under no pressure while the opposition sit in shape 3-2 up taking all 3 points home. |  |
