Football is over isn't it on 15:18 - Mar 11 by jasondozzell
Really fair points about the state of things in 70s/80s. The improvements were good for the game and we don't want to go back to that period which in reality was unsafe and not in a good way.
And it's good that the stadiums became family friendly and more inclusive.
It's just a shame that the chase of commercial dollar seems to trump all else. United is a business before a football team and have been for some time.
All profesional football clubs are businesses. if ou want a succesful club you need quality players & backroom staff, that costs money. Why have a stadium thats used 3 or 4 times a month, clubs need to maximise income. What do want a car boot sale every Sunday morning.
