9 games left on 18:45 - Mar 15 with 1075 views | MattinLondon | No. If Delap scores a couple more between then and now then that’ll add a couple more million onto his price tag. Play the best possible team between now and the rest of the season and hopefully the younger players will learn more.

Listen I think we are down but if we win our next 2 it could quite easily be back to 3 so yo can't just effectively give up. For me it's still a out putting down the most points we can until the end of the season. Set that down as A marker, go back up next season and beat that points total next time!

9 games left on 18:46 - Mar 15 with 1050 views | Pique | I'd probably carry on with Philips and Cajuste, even though they won't be here next season, simply because our other options probably aren't at that level and we'd get overrun even more than we already are. Enciso, I see little point playing him now. We'd just be doing Brighton a favour and we have plenty of other options there, especially if Chaplin is back after the break.

I think I would keep Delap as a starter, we still want to show him we are committed to him long term. FWIW I think a season in the champ for Delap with KM might not be a bad thing, he has not looked great the last few games, but, put him a team like Chelsea or whatever he would probably look world class getting many more chances. I would also like Clake on the left now for every game, he will be good in the championship as we saw against Cov.
9 games left on 18:49 - Mar 15 with 1022 views | Scuzzer | Thing is we have no real idea as to who will be with us in the Championship next season...if indeed we will get relegated. Do we drop all our loan players now? Best player for us today was one of them in Cajuste.

9 games left on 18:52 - Mar 15 with 984 views | Pique | No way would I drop Delap though. He's our player until he isn't, and if we are going to sell him we need him in the shop window. Hirst will still get plenty of minutes in the meantime. So keep playing Phillips and Cajuste for practical reasons, but I'd probably send back Enciso and Godfrey (if we haven't already), or at least not start them - both pretty pointless now. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think we play better with Morsy instead of Phillips. From the seven games this season when Morsy didn't start, we have one point. Palmer O'Shea Woolfenden Burgess Davis Morsy Cajuste Hutchinson Chaplin Broadhead Hirst Johnson on the right and Hutchinson in the centre if Chaplin isn't fit for the next game. Delap to come on and run riot around 60 minutes.
| They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all! | Poll: | Who should start in CM with Cajuste? |

Don't like O Shea on the right and think he could go to a Leeds or similar next season. Harry Clarke right back + fist pumps for 2025 / 2026 season.

Fair enough. My point wasn't really a Morsy v Phillips thing, more that I wouldn't stop seeing Phillips as an option before the end of the season simply because we don't have a huge amount of alternatives. Think both have had good and bad games this season for what it's worth, and Morsy will always be a legend and the Egyptian King in my eyes.

Hirst would just get injured. I think it works well atm. Centre Midfield is another story: - Cajuste will return sadly - Philips will return gladly as he's clearly paid a King's ransom - Morsy is 34 in Sept and his legs look on the way out, which is fair at that age - Luongo is 33 in Sept but not sure of his desire to play for us in the championship at that age. Like him a lot though. - Taylor. Not sure he's good enough beyond a squad player Beyond that: - Philogene, Szmodics, Ogbene, Burns, Omari and Clarke. Probably need to sell two of them as they are all pretty similar options. That's an embarrassment of riches in the championship and we'll be paying for it in wages - Chaplin and Broadhead - perfect

9 games left on 19:24 - Mar 15 with 730 views | MK1 | Yes and no. Phillips and Cajuste are are strongest CM partnership and I am not sure how many of ours will be here next season. Delap needs to play and score to increase his value. Godfrey and Enciso should be left at home from now on. Much rather Johnson and either Szmodics, Chaplin, Clarke or Broadhead took their spots. I am sure McKenna will still play who he thinks can win the games, but I also think he needs to have a very serious look at who is going to be here next season. The squad looks very strong at the moment, but we all know, anything can happen in football.
