What I can never quite work out is whether those people actually believe that sort of absolutely moronic drivel, or whether they just push it as a way to control others. I find the first hard to believe, but then I know one or two fundamentalist Catholics as well! Barking.
People suspending logic and reason in order to follow and/or push a manipulative ideology is fundamentally what is going to doom the human race to essentially wiping itself out in our poor little fckued up ecosphere.
Well I suppose as he does not like war elsewhere a little internal reduction of the population won't hurt. I mean they all got guns to protect themselves from this very thing happening.

Sorry to thick but how will this (if it happens) see ‘Red states’ trying to impose their will over the more liberal states?
According to the article, ’unlike the UK's Department for Education, for example, its US counterpart takes no part in laying out national curricula, which it leaves to the states. It contributes only a small fraction of funding for student spending when compared to state-level counterparts’.
So education policy will be left on the hands of the states be it red or blue.

It has very little input into the curriculum, teaching methods or working out whether individual schools are good or bad. There's no American Ofsted, or anything like our DfE.
It's mostly at state or individual school district level.
