I’m on the fence about Leeds going up. Another season down and they would be weakened further, whereas they’re probably the most likely to stay up / do a Forest if they get promoted

Leeds have some money behind them, can see them making a decent go of it next year in the PL. Sheff Utd have won a lot of games by a single goal this year. That was always likely to stop at some point, they'll be less of a threat to us next year than the other two if they screw up the play-offs.

All three that are going up will struggle just like this year and last, the gap between the championship sides and the worst established Premier League team is huge. Doesn’t matter how much they have behind them, they are still beholden to the same PSR as us.

Not absolutely true, they could gamble like Forest did

I think it's good for anybody coming up if any of the established teams got relegated the season prior. Means you're competing against 1-3 other teams who are more on a level playing field to the promoted teams. With the way this season has gone the 17 other teams will all only get stronger for next season. I think it's time the Premier League realised that there's more to English football than the top division. Parachute payments are the issue (not that I want them to go now we'll be using them) but it should be a more gradual decrease in money as you descend down the divisions. Not the boom bust we have now. [Post edited 13 Apr 11:59]
