If he wasn't playing in that disgusting yellow, he would be exactly the type of player we would be in for as a club coming down a division. Proven goal scorer at that level, playing for an absolute nothing club on the decline.

He will be off for sure but the optics of them selling to us would never happen I guess. Would not be surprised if a Leeds type look at him though, he certainly knows where the net is and will be looking to play in his home world cup.

Leeds would make sense with Farke. If it wasn’t for his injuries he’d have had a few seasons in the prem by now. Wouldn’t be suprised if he ends up in Europe somewhere

I haven't paid much attention to them but now it's certain we will be playing in the same division had a little look what's going on over there the last month. They are in serious decline I think and assume they will be selling their 3 best players. A rebuild but I have a feeling they may be rebuilding with a coach out of his depth.

If we don't do it against them next year we should give up haha.

Is there any reason why we can't buy him?

1) it would be hilarious
2) he is a very good championship targetman

They have conceded 61 goals this season, if they lose their goal threat in the summer, they could easily be in a relegation battle next season

I think they are stable enough financially where they would only sell on us as a last resort and there will surely be plenty of interest from elsewhere.

How stable are they out of interest?

I know they have the new US guy but they seem to be regressing at an alarming pace?

Haven’t taken much notice of what’s been happening north of the border this season but isn’t he quite injury prone?

Certainly used to be.

Well he certainly has the capital and heads up a very well run organization in Milwaukee.

I think he's really only just got majority but doesn't appear their appointments of Sporting Director or Coach are looking too promising at the moment. They have been able to sell and will do again. Will just be interesting to see if they have to blow up this new project by next winter and start again. I assume they will stick with it for this summer.

Either way we should be miles above them at a squad level and off the pitch as well.

We should be absolutely panning them next season, the Budgies are a bit in denial at the moment that the gap has widened

Too injury prone for me Clive!

Would rather take Hardie from Plymouth or Ivanovic from Millwall, plus Kone from Wycombe and maybe the young lad from Lincoln who got a hat trick recently.

Or am I being too greedy?

A bit worried if they lose out embarrassingly they will sack this Scandinavian chap.

I get the impression he might be way out of his depth. To have Sargent + the top champ goal scorer in Sainz, surely they might be relegation fodder without them!

Wasn't Farke's first season with them a bit like this though. I recall them getting battered 5-0 at Millwall or something like that.

Wouldn't write this guy off just yet. Not all managers can be as good as McKenna from the off.

He's been benching players for being a few minutes late and stuff and just something seems way off.

God no. An absolute clown, we can’t be building a championship team if we have ambition to return straight back to the PL.

I guess the contrast at least with the Milwaukee guy is our guys already ran football clubs, he is still learning

I wouldn't be against two coming in, particularly if we do sell Al-Hamadi

Oh I see. In the long-run that could pay off if he sticks with it, showing whose boss and all that. But it would need to start showing signs of it working next season I guess. To be fair I haven't really been following them closely this season.

Andy Marshall was Norwich player of the season when we took him. Ok that didn't turn out too well, and we were a division above, but its not impossible.

Think we should look at him personally - a top championship striker, would fit out
System, we would manage him well and got far more injury prone players playing regularly. He would easily be a 20 plus championship striker in a decent team. Injury record would keep the price relatively sensible.

Unfortunately I think a prem team might take a chance, think they would rather cut off their sixth digit than sell to us.
