Omari to Leeds would be a tough one to take 13:52 - Apr 30 with 6733 views | NedPlimpton | Just seen Kings of Anglia reporting that Leeds are interested in Omari Definitely think he's one of a few players to come out of this season without hurting his reputation and could see him getting a move back to the EPL. We know he's very ambitious too Anyone but Leeds though!

Omari to Leeds would be a tough one to take on 10:46 - May 1 by Garv | The figure I've had in my head that would force us to sell would be £35m, and I don't see anyone doing that. I can see offers between 25-30, though. |
We bought him for £22m so if there is any release clause it is likely going to start with a 4

Omari to Leeds would be a tough one to take on 13:39 - May 1 by gsoly | I'm grimly fascinated by how this exact scenario could play out this summer. Do we really have the power to 'make' Omari stay if he wants out? It never tends to end well that does it. |
This is the problem for me with the "we don't *have* to sell anyone" approach. Even without contract clauses, if a player knocks on KMs door and says they want away, it kind of becomes inevitable.

I think it depends on the player, and the longer-term picture. Remember when Leeds got relegated, and Gnonto spat his dummy out big-time when he didn't get a move away. It all seemed rather unpleasant at the time, but it seemed to calm down after the immediate shouting had finished, and he's not done too badly for them the last two seasons. Omari strikes me as a decent lad and, with McKenna at the helm, I'm sure a decision to decline a bid could be sold to him without upsetting the apple cart.

Omari to Leeds would be a tough one to take on 19:41 - Apr 30 by PhilTWTD | Maybe, I suppose it's what other teams have seen in him that they could put into their sides. I'm not sure he's had the sort of season where he's proved himself in the Premier League in the same manner as Delap. |
I will be surprised and delighted if he is here next season personally. After Delap, he is the one we are going to be fending off serious interest for I would think. I think he's proven himself this season of sorts. He hasn't smashed big goal and assist numbers but believe he is (or was until very recently) top of the PL stats for ball carries. I think his pressing is exceptional too. He looks every bit the Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford player to me given a season of bedding in maybe. And £30m is relative peanuts to those clubs. Odobert got a move to Spurs off the back of a very similar season to Omari. I suspect he will be the best player in the Championship next season if he stays. He was far too good for that level even at the tail end of last season.
