On 14 occasions out of 35 we haven't been beaten 21:01 - May 3 with 2595 views | The_Flashing_Smile | That's not far short of half. When you consider the jump we've had up from League 1, with many of those players who featured in League 1 still featuring now, I think that's pretty decent.

If we've had ten percent more games than the others our points tally is disgraceful quite frankly.

I expect this old line to still be trotted out a decade from now. When we get relegated in 2035... "Hey let's not forget we were in league one in 2023".

On 14 occasions out of 35 we haven't been beaten on 08:57 - May 4 with 320 views | SitfcB | Our home form has been disgustingly disappointing. That’s what has relegated us, makes it even more annoying. 15 away points and 22 goals scored compared to 7 home points and 13 scored.

On 14 occasions out of 35 we haven't been beaten on 07:18 - May 4 by The_Flashing_Smile | I've downarrowed you for the spirit of your post, because it's not in keeping with the spirit of the OP (looking on the positive). Shame I had to spell that out, I didn't think it would have been difficult to understand for most people. You, and the others on here who'd rather look for the negatives, are the weird blokes. |
Ha ha! Seriously?? We could have won all our games if it wasn't for the opposition being better than us. That would have given us 114pts. Is that ok?

With respect... on 08:43 - May 4 by Dyland | Any need to downvote any reply that doesn't match your view? The forum is split between footy posts and non footy posts, not between positive and negative threads (which is subjectove anyway) :) My take on your spin is yep, it shows we have indeed competed in probably most of our games. Or rather, at least in parts of most of the games. And there is where we've not been good enough. We've too often lacked the physical (and possibly mental?) ability to compete for 90+ minutes. I just assumed we'd get better as the season wore on, when in fact we have not and if anything have lagged a bit... which (and again an assumption) may be down to conditioning re v few players with a few Prem seasons under their belt, but it can't be just that... basically we will need more 'specimens' if/when we get back up. On the downvote thing, erm, yeah, that's what they're there for. If I disagree with a post, for whatever reason, I'll downvote it. Blueas disagrees with my view so he's downvoted the OP, which is fine and he's perfectly entitled to do so. There are quite a few negative people on here, so I decided to post a positive slant, which is all factual other than my conclusion that this is pretty decent (which is subjective). Based on votes it seems the majority, currently 9-1, agree with me. I agree with the rest of your post.

It's certainly weird how our home form has been worse than away form. It goes against the grain. Usually over a season home form will be better than away form due to well... playing at home. Is it no longer an advantage to be at home?

"erm, yeah" is unnecessary sarcasm, especially when you're trying to distance yourself from negative people, and especially when that's not actually what the downvote button says it's there for. If you hover over the downvote it invites you to click here if you "dislike" the post, which in many people's minds is clearly not the same as disagreeing with it. Clearly different people will interpret this in different ways, but choosing to state that you dislike what someone has written merely because you don't agree with it is the best indicator of someone who is negative on here. In my humble opinion.

It is for most (not all) of the league, but we really haven't capitalised at PR. Sad, for all the talk of how massive the gap is - some of those failures to either turn up at home or the late capitulations are what has us down.

Yes we’ve been competitive in the majority of games but bad defending and individual errors have been very costly this season as we are playing against teams who can really punish and exploit those mistakes.
