Nah, I don’t think that course is for rubbish like me.
As for the ‘deal’, they get a golf course, he gets a luxury aeroplane. Apparently you are not allowed to receive gifts like that without approval. It’s going to the airforce for fitting out so is essentially a gift to the nation. Or it would be if the orange one wasn’t going to keep it afterwards. Oops! It’s a gift.
Trump has 1991 Boeing 757 built in 1991 so I guess the 747-8 will be an upgrade. Sort of Mondeo to Bentley sort of thing, despite the 757 being a terrific aeroplane in its day. |  | | |

That fit out to make it secure enough for a President to ride in is going to take years too.
No competent or non-conflicted Defence department (and that's the issue here!) will sign of on what is basically a luxury business jet, albeit a very big one, being used as the 'Flying White House', because that is what it's meant to be in a time of crisis.
Their 'excuse' apparently is the length of time it is taking for the two new 747s Boeing are currently building to be ready, which aren't due until around 2028/9.
The fact it is then 'gifted' to his Presidential Library is of course the biggest corruption of all. | | | |
