Hello all, advice needed. I need to go to Finsbury park on a Saturday. Where can I park near to it for free or at low cost on a Saturday.

Tube station car parks are usually £6/8 all day. Not sure if that’s in the ULEZ though if that affects you.

Hi, not exactly a recommendation, just personal experience. Went to Finsbury Park about a year ago, for a concert on a Sunday. Intended to park at Cockfosters Underground station and take the tube from there. Arrived around lunchtime - station car park completely full, with multiple cars driving around in faint hope of finding a space. Drove back down the A111 (Cockfosters Road) for a few hundred yards (in direction of M25) and found street parking in a (nice) residential side street called Chalk Lane. Parked not far from a stylish-looking pub, The Cock Inn (EN4 9HU). Ten minutes walk back to Cockfosters Underground station.

There may be better options, or perhaps you'll be luckier than we were re the station car park. But the above worked well enough for us.

Parking somewhere around Blackhorse Road is usually street-parking accessible and much quicker trip in than Cockfosters.

I used to live in Finsbury Park and had a nightmare parking as our flats had a residents' car park underneath, which meant we didn't qualify for street parking - but our landlady hadn't bought a parking spot. So we were stuffed! The nearest place I found for free street parking is Spaniards Close (near Kenwood House, above Hampstead Heath) which is a 35 min bus ride (or 20 min Uber) to Finsbury Park. It's a cul-de-sac and I always got a space.
