Kit and new sponsor being held up 17:14 - May 26 with 2724 views | RIPbobby | Normally prem clubs have long since announced the next season kit and often wear them last game. I wonder why it is so slow this year. I guess the contract is lesser in the championship? Anybody in the know?
Kit and new sponsor being held up on 17:23 - May 26 with 2605 views | Scuzzer | Do we know yet if a shirt sponsor deal has been signed yet? Wouldn't have thought the shirt would be revealed until that is in place.

Kit and new sponsor being held up on 17:24 - May 26 with 2608 views | le2blue | We always release in late June or early July. I suspect this year's release timings may be connected to other events around the club. The sponsor and kit were all sorted last year.

When you change sponsor, the previous sponsor will still have a contract - so Ed S will still be our sponsor until that date so won’t be announced as Halo until then

You really think it's Halo? We need a sponsor with a big marketing budget, and one that would see the value (internationally) of being on our shirts, and willing to make a significant contribution for that reason. Halo's size and turnover/profitability doesn't really match that ambition Especially if it's multi-year, with the goal of returning to the premiership soon. [Post edited 26 May 18:05]

Halo are a great fit, a local fast-growth tech business, already investing in F1, Snooker and ITFC. Sports sponsorship has worked well for them, having Ed wearing our shirts and Prem coverage has grown their brand massively, hence why they can afford the front of the shirt. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Surely it costs them nothing. It will just be money they would have been giving to the tax man, but now they are giving it to us. So surely it is giving tax payers less money. lol

Kit and new sponsor being held up on 17:57 - May 26 by SuffolkPunchFC | OK, I was referring to the Suffolk based Halo Services. Part of the same Group I guess? Halo Services only show up with a turnover of 22M, not the billions that comes up when checking ITSM [Post edited 26 May 18:00]

Halo ITSM are Suffolk based, good too, best ITSM tool out there.

I was looking at the wrong Halo. The Suffolk one doesn't have the turnover or profits to pay enough to the taxman for a worthwhile shirt sponsorship. Still not sure if they're linked - I'll have to do more research

I always thought MSC would be the front runner.

They’re one of the fastest growing tech businesses in Europe are targeting £1bn in annual revenue in the not too distant future. A real success story of Suffolk commerce & I think they’re perfect.

Yeah,I knew where they’re based, but pulled the wrong accounts I thought it was oddly low, since we really want a shirt sponsor than can potentially fund a reasonable ‘boost’ for FFP/PSR. I think they might be able to

From what I've heard from my boss, who's rather well connected in the Suffolk business world and a massive Ipswich fan, is that it was signed in February/march. Expected to be a company already sponsoring the club.
Kit and new sponsor being held up on 21:05 - May 26 with 1398 views | BLUEBEAT | Have you seen their Stowie building? It’s like a woke w@nk off - kiddie slide spiralling down to reception. Office chairs no doubt replaced by bouncy balls and/or beanbags. Just like something from the Silicon Valley sitcom. Many of the Cambridge tech firms are like this too, tbh. Halo MSC Adnams (doubtful) Leo Muff (highly probable)

The gents who run Halo started it as a side hustle whilst working for the public sector north of the boarder. The main man, Paul Hamilton, is actually a Ross County fan. They'll be worth £2 Billion quite soon and are the most humble and down to earth blokes you'd want to be involved with the club. Anyone who sniffs at this involvement, from a firm who are trailblazers and who interestingly have guaranteed they won't be selling out despite multiple take over bids is, sadly a bit of a ninny.
