Before you answered your own question. I was curious and went to Wikipedia to check out Manchester United's squad at the time. What caught my eye at the bottom of the page was that United sold Peter Barnes to City for 20 grand.

Ii didn't realise that he went back to City.
t looks like he played for about 18 different clubs from 1987-1993!

Be a cool coaching appointment. We obviously need some fresh blood in that area this summer. Equally though - long, hefty move for the Evans family, and I very much doubt he needs the cash. His partner works in the commercial dept at Old Trafford (... or did, perhaps she's been made redundant).
