Surely matches or minutes would be a more key stat. Additionally, it matters which players. If you have a young squad player who has hardly played missing, it is less of an impact than missing all your main strikers. Of course, there is a likely correlation and this stat supports what we already knew that injuries badly impacted us. |  |
