Looks like VAR intervened to change it from a yellow to a red.
That looks like a very harsh red to me.
High boot? Yes. Very.
Intent? Couldn't see any.
Overly aggressive? Nope.
For me it's a yellow.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

Thought there was a touch of the South Korean player head butting Al-Hamadi's boot there, unintentional probably but might just have been playing to get Ali sent off. Perhaps Al-Hamadi should have been a bit more streetwise and not had his boot so high so close to another player.
