13/8 so not a huge price. But I’ve been talking about this lad for many many weeks. He’s my biggest bet of the entire flat season by quite a margin. Am on holiday in 2 weeks and after an amazing Tuesday and Wednesday, I’d guaranteed £1100 profit minimum for the week even if every bet from Thursday Friday and Saturday went down so upgraded us to the suite. A Treanmor win and I’d be tempted to see if we can go there first class. I’ve had a fair whack on at 13/8 when he was declared Thursday morning for this as expected .
For some reasoning for those wondering, he looked an absolute monster on debut at Newmarket. I’d already heard he was working like a proper one and the fact he opened at 8/13 on the show and got backed into 1/4 suggests they knew he was a certainty that day in his maiden. He skipped clear in the style of a proper good one. Ordinarily he’d be 4/6 or something for this but the form of the O’Brien stable and their record in this means their filly Moments of Joy is making the market abit. She’s currently 7/4 but I see her drifting. I’d make her 3/1 and our lad odds on. The Appleby yard isn’t flying as perhaps hoped but they’re still running ok so I’m not too concerned there. Frankly I just think this is a really really good horse and I’d be very doubtful anything here has the gears to go with him when they quicken. Am looking for Buick to sit just behind the leaders, get a nice tow into the race and then put the race to bed at the 2f pole with that potent turn of foot. If the response is as immediate as it was on debut at HQ, I don’t see anything having the speed to go with him and it’ll be all over before they’ve responded.
Might not be a price for everyone but I’ve lumped on (and had planned to for many weeks) and thought it may take some interest on here. Been an amazing week but hopefully one big finish. |  |

Am I right in thinking this was only it's second race? If so, you've got no excuse having seen Grant Ward play a blinder on his debut and then be mediocrely crap for the rest of his time here

Mate, was going to bet on him after seeing him at Newmarket and apart from that, he was the only horse who messed up my placepot which I wasn't expecting.
