He's 36 in a few months thought. I don't hate it at all as McKenna likes an experienced head back there and he must have a lot to add to the defensive group in experience. In my mind I just want us to build a group to keep for the Prem in a year (the plan at least). Of course if we keep O'Shea and Greaves they can be Prem ready by then. This would be the champ equivalent of Richard Keogh signing. Didn't really work out to be honest.
I wouldn't mind it if say it's and experienced cover/head to have around along with Baggott and to help him and have a pathway open. |  |

Good experience to have in the camp, but not a first choice / starter if we keep O’Shea & Greaves. Great cover though, and to help Greaves development.
He’s also not one with an eye on a future return to the PL. | | | |

I'm not sure we can build a PL team in the Championship these days. Everyone who goes up now seems to make wholesale changes. Worth trying to find gems who can develop and step up though, obviously. I think we'd need to use the overseas market a lot more to do it. |  |
