It's been slowly building for decades. Children are, (and I don't use this word lightly), indoctrinated, from school age to believe three things.
- America is the greatest country in the world.
- 'They' are jealous and coming to take your things/rape/murder you so you must defend yourself.
- You are the only people in the world with freedom, the military will ensure that isn't taken away.
