Looking unlikely to pay players again this month. Free agents in two weeks, apparently.

Genuinely no idea about them, is there likely to be anyone we would harbour any interest in?

So, re L1, how would they choose between Stockport, who finished third, or Wycombe, who finished fifth, but got to the final without playing Stockport?

If those two played off it would have to wait until they were up to match fitness, say, a week before fixtures started. And still the ramifications for the already printed fixture list and either of the successful clubs' wage and transfer policy would be huge.

Luton would retain their Championship status.

think it will be telling how many players have handed in their 15 day letters to the club allowing them to leave. Looking on their site, many believe this will be several and they may not have a team to field, unless they raid the academy. Then there is match day staff and police who wont come unless they are paid, and that hasn't been happening. If he does sell up, maybe we can persuade him to go and buy that lot up the road

Sheffield Wednesday have already , in a way, covered themselves by paying U21 team in full so only the first team squad can hand in 15 day letters.

The fit and proper persons test only looks at legal conditions such as certain unspent convictions, already being bankrupt or insolvent or being barred from being a director of a business. It makes no judgement on whether they are 'good'.

Also worth pointing out that the early years of Chansiri as an owner were quite different to what's going on now - probably because he had more cash from his other business to chuck at a football club.

It all sounds a lot like ME on steroids. Not that we ever came remotely close to such a situation. More meaning the change in investment.

Shame we are not playing then early on as we could thump them (again). But given they can't buy anyone most clubs should do well against them this season. Can see them being relegated if not folding completely

Didn't work out that well for us over the season with Bolton!
